This is a very short video. We get taken on a quick tour of Dover and its historic castles ( and a quick aside about our relations with the French!) before setting out for Ramsgate in a forecast Force 6. The trip down the harbour is accomplished without incident and departure for Ramsgate achieved. “The Slug's” gear box has decided to play up and Dylan is forced to motor as she is stuck in gear. As the weather is threatening our skipper is forced to stow his camera and batten down the hatches as a boat being battered west bound demonstrates just how rough it is. This is about the third time Dylan has gone out in weather that most of us small boat men would have decided to stay tucked up ashore and it is noticeable that he has only about two turns of his jib unfurled for stability!
