Medway and Stangate Creek

In this sailing video we return to our captain’s main loves; boats, mud and birds. It starts with clips of classic boats which are hailed as much more aesthetically attractive than the boats in the Solent. We then get a quick look at the North bank of the Medway and its busy trades before we go over to the South bank and into Stangate Creek where we re-familiarise ourselves with the joys of mud and its inhabitants followed by their predators (the birds and fishes) as the tide makes up the creek. We enjoy the pleasure of sitting quietly on the mud, albeit with the starboard bilge sinking in the mud, just watching the various bird types going about their business of surviving.
