This short video starts with shots of the Slug, and the town wharf with its barges and other boats. The interest transfers to the town, its shops and its architecture. We see the St Thomas Plume library built on the site of the Church of St Peter (built circa 1180) which by the 1690s had fallen into ruin apart from the tower which remains to this day. The clip ends with more shots of the Slug in the late afternoon
